Dr. Aditi Dave completed medical school in 2000 and went on to complete dual residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Michigan in 2004. Over the past 20 years, she has built extensive experience in hospital medicine, complex care, integrative medicine and global medicine.
Dr. Dave's passion for integrative medicine and compassion-centered healing began early in life, well before she entered medical school. That early curiosity naturally evolved into formal training, leading her to complete a fellowship in integrative medicine with the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine (AIHM) under Dr. Tieraona Low Dog. She has since deepened her expertise of traditional medical systems through formal study in Ayurveda with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute.
She brings particular skill to complex, multi-system cases and the diagnosis of difficult conditions, along with extensive experience in manual medicine techniques used to support healing from both acute and chronic injuries. Today, Dr. Dave mentors and teaches fellow clinicians on integrating Ayurveda into integrative medicine practice.
Individual and group classes in integrative nutrition, lifestyle medicine, stress management are offered. Additionally, Dr Dave has over 30 years of experience in meditation and breath-work, offering the most high yield methods in mind-body medicine for you to optimize your energy, clarity and get the most out of your daily life.
Whatever lens is used to assess a patient's symptoms, the truth is within the patient, and the right diagnoses can be made through listening. Integrative Medicine utilizes the concept of coherence in multiple methods or lenses of assessments lining up to get to the root cause of disease and imbalance. Imbalances can be corrected once we understand them and empower the patient on what steps to take next.
